The rule of thirds when it comes to photography it when the frame is split into 3 horizontal and 3 vertical equal segments. You would initially put the object you are taking the picture of, not in the center segment. The rule of thirds when it comes to photography it when the frame is split into 3 horizontal and 3 vertical equal segments.
